Description

A unique snowshoeing proposal to a glacial environment hidden in the heart of the Andean forest.

Available during the winter season, this excursion is designed for those who are looking for an active nature experience, accompanied by specialized guides and professional organization. Access is from San Carlos de Bariloche in two possible schedules: from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm or from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, departing from meeting points established between downtown and km 8 of Bustillo Av. or Pioneros Av.

From the moment you enter the Neumeyer Refuge, the preparation for the journey begins: a snowshoe hike through the lenga forest covered by snow. Along the way, stops are made at viewpoints and key points of environmental interpretation. The destination is the frozen lagoon, a mirror of water transformed by the winter, surrounded by the calm of the Challhuaco valley.

There, a contemplative pause accompanied by hot tea and regional alfajor is taken. Upon returning to the refuge, a full lunch is offered in a heated environment. At the end of the day, you can freely enjoy the culipatines trails in a well-cared and familiar environment.

The service includes guide during the whole circuit, technical equipment for snowshoeing, transfers from the meeting points, lunch and refreshments. It does not include snow clothes or drinks during lunch.
